3rd of December: Azerbaijan's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Khalaf Khalafov and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Azerbaijan Bård Ivar Svendsen signed a visa facilitation and readmission agreement between Azerbaijan and Norway.

Norwegian Ragnhild Thori received the prestigious Azerbaijani cultural award “HUMAY” for her bilingual (English-Azerbaijani) version of the legendary poet Nizami Ganjavi’s “Leyla and Meynun”. In the 24-year history of the award, this was the first time a non-Azerbaijani citizen received it.
